Youth baseball and softball program for boys and girls of all skill levels in cooperation with Solebury Little League, "Where Kids Count More Than Runs". Practices and games played at the Laurel Park baseball fields and NHS school district facilities. Additional information and registration is available on the Solebury Baseball website.

BasketballBasketball

Intramural: Register for Recreation Youth Basketball for girls and boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade by clicking on the registration link to access the online form. Our late registration period ends on November 15.  Register at https://events.membersolutions.com/event_register.asp?content_id=89448

For all registered players in grade K thru grade 2, a size 27.5 basketball will be provided for you at the clinic sessions on December 2 and 9 which you will keep and use for future practices.

This is a Saturday program beginning with clinics in December and continuing in January through the end of February each year, using the gym at the New Hope-Solebury upper elementary school.  Registration for the upcoming winter basketball program typically begins the first week of October each year.  Download a pdf of the Intramural Basketball Notice at the bottom of this page which includes additional information and clinic dates and times.  Game Schedule and Team Assignments can also be downloaded from the list at the bottom of this page.

Travel: Competitive teams for girls and boys playing in the Inter County Basketball League (ICBA) through 8th grade.  Coaches and teams are organized and determined in June of each year.  Team tryouts are normally held the last two weeks in September, after which practices begin.  Home teams practice and play in the New Hope-Solebury school district gyms.  Games are played home and away from December through March during the weeknights and on weekends.  All of the season game schedules for every team can be found on the ICBA website at https://www.icbabasketball.com  If you are interested in coaching a Travel in our upcoming Winter Season 2023-24, please contact soleburyparks@soleburytwp.org on or before June 1st.  Please view the Coach Selection pdf document at the bottom of this page.

Travel Tryout Schedule:  Tryouts are typically held during the last two weeks of September each year.  The 2023 pdf schedule is at the bottom of this page.  All tryouts are held in the New Hope-Solebury upper elementary school gym at 180 West Bridge Street, New Hope, PA.  Each team has 2 tryout dates and the coach will make all decisions and selections after the 2nd tryout.  Please also read all the information and download the pdf Travel Basketball Tryout Notice below, including the registration form which players will need to bring to the tryout along with a copy of his/her birth certificate.

Adult League:  Coed adult basketball is a pick-up league that plays on Thursday evenings at the New Hope-Solebury UES gym, normally at 8:30-10:00 p.m., from mid-September until mid-June.  Gym time is based on availability and the needs of the NHSSD athletic programs.  Registration takes place mid-August to mid-September each year.  Our program is full for the 2023-24 season and registrations are now CLOSED.    Direct any questions to soleburyparks@soleburytwp.org

Beginning, intermediate and competitive travel soccer opportunities for girls and boys in cooperation with Solebury Soccer Club, playing at Laurel, Pat Livezey and Canal Park. Additional information is available on the Solebury Soccer website.

LacrosseLacrosse

REGISTER NOW  for Intramural Boys and Girls Lacrosse for grades K through 8 emphasizing skill development and sportsmanship, practicing and playing on Township and New Hope-Solebury School District fields.  This is a great opportunity for your child to learn the game of lacrosse in an environment that is focused on teamwork, social interactions, and enjoyment of the sport.  Click on the following link for access to the Lacrosse Club website and the online registration: http://www.nhslacrosseclub.com/organizations/19205   

Registration ends on January 31 after which there is a $25 late fee.  Uniform ordering will be done separately once teams are confirmed for each age group.

The Lambertville/New Hope Ramblers Football and Cheerleading program provides football and cheerleading opportunities for children ages 5-14 in Lambertville, New Hope, Solebury, and surrounding communities. The programs is affiliated with the Warren County Midget Football League in NJ. Practices and games are played locally at Ely Park field in Lambertville, NJ. WrestlingWrestling

The Solebury Lions Youth Wrestling Club program provides opportunities for Kindergarten through 8th Grade participants and is part of the Delaware River Wrestling League.
