Solebury Township Police Foundation
The Solebury Township Police Foundation (STPF) was recently established through the collaborative efforts of dedicated community members committed to supporting local law enforcement. Longtime resident Peter Augenblick helped lead the initiative, bringing together a group of engaged community leaders to form the Foundation and guide its development.
Within a short time, a strong and active Board of Directors was assembled to champion the Foundation's mission and purpose. Founding members include:

With approximately 80% of the Solebury Township Police Department's budget dedicated to personnel costs, limited funding remains for additional operational needs. The Solebury Township Police Foundation plays an important role in helping bridge that gap by supporting initiatives that enhance the department’s capabilities and community engagement.
The Foundation provides funding for advanced equipment and technology, training and professional development, youth programming, community outreach, and crime prevention initiatives. These efforts help ensure that the Police Department can continue to deliver the high level of service the Solebury Township community expects.
In 2025, the Foundation supported several successful community events, including a Bike Rodeo and "Popcorn with the Police." Looking ahead, a number of new initiatives are planned for 2026, including the launch of a police drone program.
How to Get Involved
Community members and local businesses are encouraged to support the Foundation's mission. Participation opportunities include financial contributions, as well as donations of materials or professional services that can further enhance police services in Solebury Township.

The Solebury Township Police Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2025 to foster community support for the Solebury Township Police Department through philanthropic, non-tax-based funding. Its mission is to help ensure that officers have the resources needed to provide exceptional service and to contribute to a safe and thriving community.
