Township-Managed Parks

Solebury Township Parks and Recreation embraces the philosophy that leisure time activities enhance the quality of life by offering an abundant variety of both passive and active recreational opportunities at our local and State parks.

We have a reputation as an innovative leader in recreational offerings. The Pennsylvania Recreation and Parks Society has recognized our efforts with "Excellence in Programming" awards for our support of the construction of the Track Facility and Sports Complex located on the grounds of the New Hope-Solebury High School, our CPR/AED Community Outreach Training Program, our partnership participation in the New Hope-Lambertville Winter Festival, our Summer Adventure Camp and our youth Baseball and Softball programs.

Our unique community depends greatly on the many volunteers who support our programs and park facilities in Solebury. Our residents are an integral part of the infrastructure and are encouraged to take an active role in the activities and events that occur here. Come on out and enjoy our parks and recreation!

Aquetong Spring Park

Located along U.S. Route 202 and the corner of Lower Mountain Road, this 48-acre site was acquired by Solebury Township in 2009 from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Solebury has developed the site into a unique park for both educational and recreational opportunities, while maintaining the sensitive eco-system, which is currently a habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal life. Many trails wind their way throughout the park, and directional signs are located along these pathways, with benches and overlook areas. The actual spring water cascades over a waterfall, then meanders through the twists and turns of the stream that makes it way to the Delaware River.
