Solebury, a natural choice.

Brush up your driver safety skills

Could you pass your driving exam again? If you're over 50, the odds are against you. The rules of the road and the questions on the test have changed. The cars we drive and the roads we travel are different now, too, and the skills we need to drive safely and defensively are not the same ones we first learned.

So if your first driver's license didn't come with a photo on it, here's a chance to sharpen your road skills. Solebury Parks and Recreation has teamed up with the Community School of New Hope-Solebury to offer two safe driving courses from AARP. Classes will be held during the day at NHS High School and are open to drivers over 50.

Solebury residents and members of the NHS Senior Citizens Organization who successfully complete the course are eligible for a three-year auto insurance discount and will have their course fee reimbursed by Solebury Parks and Recreation.
