Stormwater Guidelines and Resources
Protect your water resources. Most Solebury residents get their water from ground wells, and our aquifers are the source of all of our drinking water.
When it rains, it drains, where does your runoff drain to?
- Use the Bucks County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program to dispose of hazardous substances such as used oil, cleaning supplies and paint.
- Use pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides properly and efficiently to prevent excess runoff.
- Pick up after pets and dispose of their waste properly—in your backyard or at the park, stormwater runoff can carry pet waste from land to the storm sewer system to a stream.
- Wash your car at a car wash where water gets treated and recycled.
